Suzuki Early Childhood Education

Starting at $60/month

The Suzuki Early Childhood Education class is a program built around the Suzuki Principals:

  • Every Child Can Learn

  • Ability Develops Early

  • Environment Nurtures Growth

  • Children Learn From One Another

  • Success Breeds Success

  • Parental (adult) Involvement is Critical

  • Encouragement is Essential

The class is set up as two rotating routines that build in layers whenever the child is ready to introduce new skills. Since the routine structures stay the same, they become familiar, and the children become more likely to anticipate and participate in each of the activities. The class is comprised of mixed ages (0-3yrs) and abilities that allow for children to learn from one another. I have really enjoyed watching some magical moments develop in the classes that I have taught and observed. This curriculum utilizes the environment of music to develop social skills needed to be a good citizen and community member. It is a safe place for student to learn sharing, patience, delayed gratification, and other factors that when experienced in small doses in a safe place and with the support of a parent helps the student to develop “grit,” perseverance, and self-confidence in a way that goes far and beyond a class designed simply for fun and entertainment.
